This was a very interesting story that took me on a journey with Allen Court in Finland. Allen Court was a great character and he interacted really well with others. I really wished the story was longer and we really got to see his interaction with the young lady when he travels to another country. Solid writing and a good story.

The story itself is good. Solid storyline written in enough of a sporadic sense it's believable to imagine you're in the character's head. I think Allen's personal back story could have been developed a little more, and it would've made him easier to understand. I did feel like he was interesting and level headed. He was decided and calculating even with his spontaneous decisions. I enjoyed the book but it is in severe need of proofreading and a little editing because there are some errors in that area. The tempo seemed to change once he got to Egypt and I would've liked the book to flow similarly throughout. It almost felt like two different authors wrote this book. If the author is interested I'd volunteer to proofread and edit it for him.

An interesting coming of age journey with strong themes of growth and cultural discovery. Allen’s travels and inner struggles are relatable, and the story carries a thoughtful message about purpose and self-awareness. At times the pacing feels uneven, but the experiences and personal development make it a meaningful read overall.
